The Best Crock Pot Buffalo Chicken Ranch Sliders
As a busy mom and teacher I am always on the look out for quick and easy recipes that my whole family will love. Well friends, I have found one that meets all of the criteria above.
These are hands down the best crock pot buffalo chicken ranch sliders! A crowd pleaser that you will want to add to your meal planning menu here as we prepare for a busy fall. These are easy to throw together, either in the morning before you head to work, or you can even toss the ingredients in the crock pot around lunch and it will be ready in time for dinner!
Even better is the fact that these will keep in the fridge for up to a week!
A Crock Pot Favorite
My kids love this easy meal and so do their friends. Because of this, I make it often!
This recipe is made from frozen chicken breasts, but can also be made with fresh chicken breasts as well by simply altering the cook time. The 5 ingredients I use for this easy back to school meal always include: frozen chicken breasts, King’s Hawaiian rolls, a ranch dressing packet, mild wing sauce and either ranch or blue cheese dressing.
The Steps to Cooking These Sliders
I think you will laugh when I tell you how easy this slider recipe really is to make!
First, take out your crock pot/ slow cooker and add in 4-6 frozen chicken breasts. This will serve 4-6 people. If you plan to feed a larger crew, add in as many chicken breasts as you think are needed. I like to add one breast per person eating. Once the chicken breasts are in the crock pot decide when you need your meal to be done and then follow the cook times below.
- low setting for 6-8 hours
- high setting for 2.5-4 hours
Second, pour the entire bottle of the mild wing sauce over your frozen chicken breasts doing your best to coat all of the chicken. Yep, use the entire thing!
Third, open you dry ranch packet and sprinkle it over the chicken and sauce.
Finally, double check your settings and then add the lid back on and wait for your meal to cook itself and be done!
Once the time is up on your crock pot buffalo chicken ranch sliders you will need to shred the chicken. The best way to shred crock pot chicken is to use a fork and a knife. Once it is nicely shredded I like to turn my slow cooker to the warm setting while I prepare the rest of the meal.
Putting The Chicken Sliders Together
Ok, it’s time to get those buns ready! I like to use a fork to scoop little bit of the chicken on to each individual Hawaiian roll. Once I have the chicken on the roll I add my favorite sauce.
Pretty easy so far, right? The good news is that the only hard part about this meal is choosing weather to top your sliders with blue cheese or ranch dressing! Ha!
Finally, add the top bun and you can serve this yummy meal with corn on the cob, fresh fruit, a salad or maybe even some celery!
So, are you ready to add the best crock pot buffalo chicken ranch sliders to your next meal plan or grocery list? Here is the full recipe!
