- Puff Pastry
- Strawberry Fruit Spread
- muffin tins
Instruction Strawberry Puff Pastry Brie Bites
This is a very simple and quick recipe with a wonderfully tasty outcome! All you need is three ingredients and a love for cheese.
First, take your puff pastry out of the freezer two hours ahead of time and let it thaw out.
Once it has thawed spread it out and simply cut it into mini squares. One puff pastry sheet will make 9 squares and two will make 18. Spray or grease your muffin tins and gently press the squares into each cup.
Next, cut your brie cheese into bite sized chunks. And, yes, you do live the rind on! Place the bites of cheese in the middle of each puff pastry square. Push the cheese down a bit.
Finally, add a small dollop of fruit spread on top of, or next to your cheese bite.
And that’s it. Pop it into a 400 degree preheated oven and bake them for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and the puff pastry is golden. Take them out and let them cool for just a few minutes. These are a great side dish or appetizer!
I hope you will enjoy these delicious bite sized treats. Let’s just say they barely lasted long enough in my home for me to get pictures of them! These will be on the menu here for the upcoming holidays.
