Happenings at Home

First before I share, happy October 1st!!!!

Last week was a lot of fun! We surprised my 13 year old, Grace, with a room makeover. I call it a surprise because she didn’t know when it was going to happen. We have talked about it for awhile now and I even shared the mood board here in this post.

My amazing mom helped it all come together! I could not have done it without her. We had so much fun. And I am still in shock that we pulled it all together in one day.

Here are a few pictures (you can see more over on my Instagram highlights) and I will be sharing a blog post all about it soon with all of the details.

The best part is that Grace is in love with it! She couldn’t stop talking about it and that made all the crazy work of pulling it together totally worth it!!!

This Week On The Blog

Did you see that I hosted the Bloggers’ Best Fall home tours this past week? Goodness was it a lot of fun. There were 29 other bloggers sharing their homes and so much Fall inspiration. Please stop by and take the tours if you are looking for some great Fall decor tips and tricks.

Do you enjoy the tours? There will be another one in November for Christmas. That’s usually my favorite one!

I shared our kitchen and master bedroom. I feel like I am finally getting the feel of our home after a year and I am loving it. I also got some mums and pumpkins for our porch. I haven’t shared those yet but hope to soon!
