Touches of Spring In The Kitchen
Oh goodness do I have a fun post for you all today! It’s Spring Home Tour season and I am kicking it off with our kitchen. I am so excited to be sharing my touches of spring in the kitchen with you all. The best part is that I have teamed up with 12 other bloggers who are also sharing their spring home tours today as well. A huge shout out to AnnMarie and Anne of Simply 2 Moms for hosting this tour and asking me to join in on the spring fun! Make sure that you take a peek at all of the tours linked at the end of my post.

Touches of Spring In The Kitchen
Come on in to our kitchen! I’ll be honest, I went for the “less is more” approach with my spring kitchen decor this year. After Christmas and winter I just felt like I needed less crazy in my life and that definitely carried over to my decor. Do you ever feel that way?
So to start I gathered inspiration from this fun little spring vignette I added to our counter. I love that it had a simple feel with blues, greens and texture. So that is what I went with.
The flowers were a Trader Joe’s find and the mini blue ginger jar was a Hobby Lobby clearance aisle score. Do you see that tiny jadeite cupcake stand? I picked her up last spring from the Magnolia Home line at Target. I love anything jadeite even if it is a remake!
The bread board was a gift from my aunt a few years ago and I just recently scooped up the faux cabbage from one of my favorite local stores, Rod Works here in Colorado.
Our Kitchen Mug Rack
Just over from our island is my favorite mug rack! I swear this baby has seen her fair share of seasonal decor! So this year I decided to just adorn her with a few statement pieces.
My favorite blue and white ironstone tea cups and this darling little metal wreath also from Rod Works. The blue and white chinoserie bowl I found at HomeGoods (which I adore) and decided that placing the faux fern inside of her gave that spring feeling I was searching for.
The white cabinet is from Target and I have had it for years! Each time I think of replacing it I can never find anything quite as perfect. It still holds all of my Rae Dunn mugs I have collected over the years…and yes…I do use them all the time!
Our Kitchen Nook
I love this sweet little space mostly because I LOVE our table. Would you believe that I got it for free from a friend who was moving? You bet I did! Aren’t those legs just gorgeous?
For a simple centerpiece I added this faux grass and sat some Rae Dun egg cups in front of it. They spell out spring and look so cute. It’s like they were made for this spot!
The fake eggs are from the Target dollar bins! I have another project planned for them soon but until then they will keep the egg cups company.
The Other Side of Our Spring Kitchen
You all should feel special because I never show this side of our kitchen! For real, it is so hard to capture but I found this awesome blue runner/rug at HomeGoods and I just had to show her off! It’s like she was made for this space!
As you pop around our island to the other side you are greeted by my fabulous new counter stools and my favorite green dresser. The stools were a fun splurge from Wayfair but add that coastal cottage look I love!
Of course I would be foolish not to include pictures of this fabulous Boxwood green dresser in my kitchen tour! I always love to layer her and this spring was no different. I added touches of spring with my new to me rattan magazine holder I scored of off Facebook Marketplace for $10! Doesn’t she look so cute holding my green and white rabbit plates and lettuce chargers?
The bunnies are a random but fun touch. The white ones are from the Target dollar bins last year and the silver bunny mold is made to look vintage and I can’t remember where I found it. They make me want to collect more bunnies to display!

Hello Kelly.
Love your spring look. I have to ask you, what type floors are in your kitchen? Love them!!
Thanks, Thelma.
Hi Thelma! Thanks for your kind words and stopping by the blog! Our floors are maple with an oil based satin finish. Unfortunately it was a custom mixed stain that was mixed on site so I don’t know the exact color. I hope that helps a bit!
Everything looks so pretty! I love the spring in your kitchen and that mug rack is so cute!
Happy day friend!

Your kitchen looks pretty with all its spring touches. Your mug rack must be fun changing up for the seasons.
Your cabinet filled with Rae Dunn mugs is classic and it must be fun using different mugs.
