My inspiration for this table was our apple tree.  It’s kind of a love hate relationship I have with it. The apple tree is beautiful and usually produces some good apples. It was here when we moved into this home a few years ago but I think it is quite old.

However, it  makes a mess in the yard because it’s so big and we can’t keep up with all the apples. And, last year it didn’t produce any apples and a huge part of the tree broke off and fell in the yard. An arborist told us that we may lose the tree soon.

It’s behind the table on the right.

I started layering with a green tablecloth and then I added an antique blue and white grain sack along with a colorful kantha throw from the U COUNT Marketplace . I love all the mixing and matching of fall colors and patterns.

Do you spy that sweet little pumpkin I snuck in there? And the apple branches?

I found this wire cloche at a flea market and knew it would be beautiful out on a table or even my potting table! I placed it over these blue and white melamine plates perfect for outdoor dining.

Still enjoying the last of my Zinnias! The variety you see on my table are all from my favorite Earth Science Zinnia mix bag.

Throw in a few more pumpkins and we are good to go.  Well, I guess we need plates, flatware, table lamps…etc.

My faux bamboo silverware has such pretty handles I put them upside down in this copper mug just for fun!

When I shop I try to find items that are versatile and can be used over and over again in many different ways. Like the blue and white tea cups… I collected them at flea markets or eBay. And the wooden cutting board I use repeatedly on different tables.

Would you mix apples and pumpkins??? Fruit and flowers on an outdoor table?

I also love big statement pieces like this large black lantern. This is actually from my sister’s wedding. We borrow and share decor since we live so close. Our mom does too!

I love Tablescapes with an organic quality. Items that capture your eyes as they land on each layer.
