Our Cozy Christmas Porch
Welcome to our cozy Christmas porch! Yesterday was all about our tree…today is all about our porch! I am joining several talented ladies for the Christmas Festival Blog Hop hosted by Kendra from Joy In Our Home. This is a week long hop so make sure to stop back by all week for some major Christmas inspiration! If you are coming from The Painted Hinge welcome, isn’t her Christmas side porch just beautiful?(Some affiliate links are provided in this post for convenience. Full disclosure here.)
Our Cozy Christmas Porch
Welcome to the Tattered Pew! If you are visiting for the first time I’m so glad you are here! I love Jesus, my family, teaching kindergarten, decorating and living in beautiful Colorado! Our porch is one of my favorite spots because it holds my beloved pew…Ms. Fanny! She is so much fun to decorate. Last year’s porch was all about the reds and whites and this year I’m all about the reds and greens with pops of black! It’s fun to mix it up, don’t you agree?
Greenery
I am proud to say that the only things I purchased to decorate my porch this year was the greenery and my doormat. The greenery on the back of the pew and the wreaths are from Trader Joe’s and the greenery around our door and window above the pew is from Home Depot. I owe my friend Susan from Saw Nail and Paint a huge thank you for telling me about the $15 cedar garland from Home Depot! It’s gorgeous and smells amazing!
The Accessories
After adding all of the greenery I had fun adding the accessories. The blankets and pillows came first and then I sprinkled birch and aspen logs around the pew.
Isn’t that letters to Santa box so cute? It’s from the Magnolia Hearth and Hand line at Target!
Welcome Friends
Around the corner from our pew is our front door! The old sled, green bucket and metal child’s chair are all flea market finds.
I loved the festive colors on this doormat and had to snag it. Its from Target! To me it says welcome and Merry Christmas friends! It might also say this is a fun house full people who love Christmas!
Here is a peek into our newly tiled entryway! I will be sharing more of this space next week all dressed up for Christmas! Make sure to subscribe to my blog at the end of this if you don’t want to miss my posts! 😉
Thanks for stopping by…

Finally sat down to enjoy the Christmas blogs… On January 1st! Sadly, the season just seems to get busier each year or maybe we just try to fit too much in. I love all things home decor so I can never get enough of these lovely blogs. Your porch is lovely. Feels so inviting. Tomorrow I start putting away my Christmas decorations and decorating for winter, lol. Perhaps I still have time to buy a small flocked tree… Perhaps on clearance 😀. Have a blessed year. Continue to do such great work. I, as well as many others really appreciate it.
Marie thank you for stopping and by and for your kind message…it was just the encouragement I needed as I prepare my heart and home for 2019.I hope you find that flocked tree on clearance and best wishes on your 2019!
