Last Minute Valentine’s Day Ideas
Hi friends! Can you believe Valentine’s Day is only a few days away? If you are like me and need a few last minute Valentine’s Day ideas then this post is for you!
In our house we keep it rather simple and usually enjoy a heart shaped pizza and some fun little treats. I do decorate a little bit but not much. My husband and I also like to leave fun little notes for our four children to let them know how much they are loved.

Thebestideasforkids.com Valentine’s slime! Has the slime epidemic caught on at your house yet?! Oh boy, I swear our 8 year old would make slime all day if I let her! So when I found this adorable idea on Pinterest I knew it was a keeper!
4. Heart Shaped Soap
Looking for a great alternative to candy for your Valentine? My daughter and I made these heart shaped soaps for Valentine’s Day and included a free printable to package them up! We made them in just under 2 hours and they were SO simple. Aren’t they cute?
5. Cute Candy Valentines
Have you seen these precious Valentine’s? These are the Valentine’s my preschooler made this year! However, we used skittles for the wings! She also wrote her name on the back of each clothespin so her friends would know they were from her. It was fun to spend a little one on one time with her making these! We also have a third grader and her teacher came up with the darling idea for each student to make a personalized box for their class Valentine’s! Our daughter loves sports so she created this awesome basketball box! I found the inspiration HERE while searching Pinterest!

How cute are these printables by Classy Clutter to leave on your kiddos’ doors?! Such a fun way to show them some love! You could print these out last minute and have them hung the night before!

Twelve On Main DIY rolled book page in the shape of a heart spoke to my book loving heart! Ha ha! See what I did there?! Any who, it looks super easy to make and yet has such a huge statement with it’s simplicity and texture!
10. Dessert For Two
5 Minute Chocolate Mouse from Dessert For Two ! I honestly included these because they stopped me mid scroll on Pinterest! I mean…yes please! Plus anything that takes 5 minutes and looks that good is right up this girls alley!
11. Valentine Heart Tree
We all love a quick and easy DIY! That’s why I picked this Valentine Tree by Simply Kierste Design ! I loved how she grabbed these sticks out of her yard! She inspired me to add hearts to the branches I currently have in our entryway!
Below is our entryway and you can see where I added hearts! The only difference is that I attached mine with mini clothespins while she used baker’s twine!
