Welcome Home Saturday
Hello friends! Welcome to this week’s edition of Welcome Home Saturday, a weekly series where several of my friends and I gather every Saturday on our blogs to share what is inspiring us around the web. Plus, catch a peek into what’s been happening with me lately.

Happenings at Home
Hi friend! Did you notice I skipped last week’s Welcome Home Saturday? Since it was Easter weekend I opt to spend that time with my family.
So as we catch up, how was your Easter? Ours was wonderful except I did get sick on Easter and haven’t felt like myself all week. I’m pretty sure it was my body telling me I needed to slow down.
So, I did as best as I could, and it felt nice besides feeling a bit achy. Mike took so much off my plate and I am so thankful for him and the amazing husband and dad he is.
I was bummed to not be feeling well this week because the weather here in Colorado was in the 70s and I had wanted to get out in my yard for some prep and clean up. But, oh well I still have some time luckily!
We have been busy with dance and soccer games too. Oh and some basketball thrown in as well.
I of course have been trying to keep up with all things here on The Tattered Pew along with my other page, Lazy Girl’s Garden Club. This past Thursday I went live on IG with Sara from @simplysoutherncottage and Wendy from @chairwhimsy. We chatted about my new account and how I niched down to just zinnias. They are amazing friends, mentors and coaches and what a blessing they both are! You can see that LIVE here!
This Week On The Blog
There were no new posts this week but since I didn’t post last Saturday there were two new ones last week. Did you see my mom’s latest Tuesdays With Tracy? It was a fun one at the end of March. She will have another one here in April s well.
Then I had a new garden post titled, How to Make Zinnias Bloom More : A Beginners Guide to Pinching & Deadheading. If you are getting ready to plant then you might want to check this post for some tips. It focuses on my favorite flowers, zinnias!
