Welcome Home Saturday
Hello friends! Welcome to this week’s edition of Welcome Home Saturday, a weekly series where several of my friends and I gather every Saturday on our blogs to share what is inspiring us around the web. Plus, catch a peek into what’s been happening with me lately.

Happenings at Home
This week flew by! The weather started off wonderful and then yesterday and today we have had snow. I know I will appreciate it later but I am definitely dreaming of warmer weather.
It was a normal week around here but I did get to set up my new raised garden beds! My sister introduced me to the owners of a local small business called, Maker’s Bench. A very cool place that teaches wood working, has classes and so much more! I mentioned them in last week’s post too.
Well after meeting Cheryl and getting to work a bit in her shop we decided it would be fun to host a raised garden bed workshop!
So if you happen to be local to Northern Colorado, and available on May 4th and want to build some raised beds, (or just pick up a kit!) I would love for you to join us! Here is the link for more info!
Below you can watch me setting them up in our yard via my Instagram post!
This Week On The Blog
New on the blog is a post for my gardening friends all about how to treat powdery mildew on Zinnias. This is one of those posts that isn’t all happy go lucky but it is more of a helpful post for a very common gardening issue.
Links and Loves
I have some fun links to share with you all today. Did you know if you click a shopping link in one of my posts and buy something (even if it’s not the same item I have linked) I earn a commission? Pretty awesome right? I am always thankful when you shop through my links. It helps keep this little blog afloat.
- My daughter just asked for this? Have you heard of them?
- I just ordered this for my flower arrangements. Can’t wait!
- In love with this and thinking of places to put it!
- I love all things block print and these linens from Pottery Barn are calling my name!
Also, I just launched something very exciting! I now have an ETSY shop with some fun Lazy Girl’s Garden Club merchandise. I hope you will stop by and check it out! Linked HERE.

Coming Up On the Blog
Next week if the snow clears up I hope to do a couple garden DIYs. I have another idea to go along with this DIY Solar fountain post that I shared last year. Any guesses?

Hi Kelly
I just became a member and so happy that I did! I just love the tour of your new home when you had posted it. I have also watched the tour today as to how you have now decorated it. So beautiful.
My favourite colours are blue and cream…love the blue in your kitchen and entrance way.
Thank you for the awesome tips on how to decorate.
Hi Candy! Welcome I am so glad you are here! Isn’t blue just the best color? I didn’t think it was possible to love it any more but I sure do. I will forever love having a blue kitchen. Chat with you soon and thanks again for stopping by!
You have more talent then I do but then most people do, I enjoy dropping by for a read and discovering what’s happening with you and yours.
Thank you Aussie Jo! Happy weekend!
I have been following for a while now, and I am still just as obsessed with your blue cabinets as I was when I first saw them! I just called my Cabinet Painters Ridgewood, NJ for a consultation. They said they can paint match, so I hope my kitchen turns out just like yours! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Tammie! yay, that is such good news!! The professionals can make it happen:) Keep me posted as I would love to see! Thanks for following along and have a great week.
Kelly
