Happenings at Home

Happy Memorial Day weekend! We’ve reached the unofficial start of summer, and I couldn’t be more excited! Today, after taking two weeks off from my regular Welcome Home Saturday posts I have a lot to fill you in on! I’m also sharing some of the best 2024 Memorial Day Weekend sales, along with my top picks.

Before diving into today’s post, let’s take a moment to remember why we get to celebrate this weekend. It’s crucial to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Their courage allows us to enjoy barbecues, weekend sales, everyday moments, and so much more, not just this weekend but every day of the year. May we never forget their heroism and sacrifice! God Bless America!

Big Family News

Well last weekend our oldest son Easton married his best friend Katy and it was absolutely magical!

The wedding was originally scheduled for October but they decided along with their amazing pastor to move it up so they could move in to their newly purchased townhouse together. They are keeping Jesus at the center of their marriage and what a testimony it was to all who attended.

They kept it small with 45 guests, all family. We hosted the reception in our backyard! I’m hoping to do a full post on it with all of the details soon.

Planting Has Begun

Also, once Mother’s Day and our last frost passed here in Colorado it was time to plant my zinnia seeds! They are already sprouting and so you know I am excited about that!

This Week On The Blog

Well, I finally did it! I updated my DIY Solar Fountain post to add a new one. And I have to say this 4th idea that I added is my favorite. Probably because it involves flowers.
